Hello everyone! Today I'd like to share several popular and traditional dishes in China with you, you can't miss it!

1. Hot Dry Noodles

What is Hot Dry Noodles?

Hot Dry Noodles can be seen as a symbol of Wuhan, it has more than 70 years history. Its invention has some connection with the hot weather in summer of wuhan.

The noodles are just ordinary Alkali noodles. The main ingredient is tuned sesame paste. And usually we top with spicy radish, spiced radish, sesame oil, soy sauce, sour beans, salt, chicken essence, pepper powder, vinegar, garlic juice, brine juice, chives or cilantro.

Where can you taste it?

The most traditional Hot Dry Noodles is definitely in Wuhan, one day if you have the opportunity to visit Wuhan, you can't miss it!

Moreover, there is an instant Hot Dry Noodles, the taste is similar with traditional Hot Dry Noodles and it's acceptable.

2. Hot Pot

What is Hot Pot?

The hot pot was originated in Sichuan Province, China. Due to the mountainous terrain and humid climate, local people created Hot Pot to keep them warm. It consists of a simmering metal pot with broth at the center of a table, and all raw ingredients placed beside the metal pot, so people can add and cook whatever they like in the broth.


How to enjoy Hot Pot?

It's really easy to make a delicious hot pot. First, you need a pot and a burner to keep things simmering at the table. There are different options and you can choose these tools as you like.

Other than that, all you need is some basic accessories: chopsticks (different sets for dipping in the communal pot and eating), mini tongs, small strainers, spoons, shallow bowls for eating, and small bowls for dipping sauces.

Then, you need to choose the hot pot seasoning, there are several tastes: spicy, tomato, sauerkraut, mushroom soup... Just put your preferred seasoning in the pot and boil it. After boiling, you can put ingredients like vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, meats, sea food in the pot and wait for several minutes. A delicious hot pot is done and share it with your friends!

3. Rou Jia Mo

What is Rou Jia Mo?

RouJiaMo, is a street food originating from Shaanxi Province. Roujiamo could be the world's oldest sandwich or hamburger, since baijimo dates back to the Qin dynasty (221–206 BC) and the meat to the Zhou dynasty (1045–256 BC).

It's made by meat(especially pork), the meat is minced or chopped and stuffed in "baijimo", a type of flatbread which is made from a wheat flour dough with yeast and then baked in a clay oven.

4. Peking Ducks

What is Peking Duck?

Peking Duck is a dish from Beijing(Peking). The duck is characterized by its thin, crisp skin, with authentic versions of the dish serving mostly the skin and little meat, sliced in front of the diners by the cook. The duck is often eaten with spring inion, cucamber and sweet bean sauce with pancakes rolled around the fillings. Sometimes pickled radish is also inside, and other sauces (like hoisin sauce) can be used.

5. Rice Noodle Roll

A rice noodle roll (also translated as steamed rice roll) is a Cantonese dish from southern China and HongKong, commonly served either as a snack, small meal or as a variety of dim sum. It is a thin crépe roll made from a wide strip of rice noodles, filled with shrimp, beef, vegetables, or other ingredients. Seasoned soy sauce – sometimes with siu mei drippings – is poured over the dish upon serving.
